We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our indoor dog pool at All About Dogs in Toronto, offering a spacious 4-foot deep pool equipped with a gentle ramp for easy access.
Spanning 18 feet in length by 8 feet in width, our heated pool provides a safe and enjoyable environment for dogs to engage in swim training session and recreational swims.
Swimming offers numerous benefits for dogs, making it an excellent form of exercise and enrichment. It promotes cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and joint flexibility, particularly beneficial for senior dogs or those recovering from injuries. Swimming also helps dogs burn off excess energy, reducing behavioral issues related to boredom or pent-up energy. Moreover, it’s a low-impact activity that’s gentle on joints, making it suitable for dogs of all ages and fitness levels.
Orientation Swim at All About Dogs

This service is designed for dogs who are already comfortable with water and confidently entering the pool without requiring an instructor in the water. It is perfect for water-loving dogs who simply want to swim, exercise, and have fun in a safe, controlled environment.
One of our trained staff members will provide you with guidance on how to use the pool safely and review our facility guidelines before your session begins.
If you feel your dog requires additional support, guidance, or an instructor in the water, please book a Swim Training session instead so we can properly assist you and ensure the best possible experience for your pup.
For dogs needing additional support, our ongoing swim training sessions are designed to gradually build confidence and refine swimming skills over time.
Our 35-minute Swim Training session is the perfect way to introduce your dog to the water in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. Led by one of our experienced swim instructors, this private session is designed to build your dog’s confidence while giving you the skills and knowledge to support safe swimming in the future.
We begin with a personalized assessment of your dog’s comfort level and swimming ability, allowing the session to be tailored to their individual needs. Whether your dog is brand new to swimming or simply needs a little extra encouragement, our knowledgeable instructors guide them step-by-step to ensure a positive and confidence-building experience.
Safety is always our top priority. Every dog is fitted with a properly sized life jacket, and we teach them how to safely enter and exit the pool using our low-slope ramp. Throughout the session, we incorporate toys and treats to create a fun, rewarding atmosphere that helps your dog associate the water with excitement and enjoyment.
Swimming isn’t just fun — it’s also an excellent way to keep your dog active and healthy. It provides a full-body, low-impact workout that improves strength, endurance, and joint health, while burning energy and offering valuable mental stimulation.
